Il GLOBEDUO vede l’unione del Flautista Andrea Oliva e della Chitarrista Costanza Savarese, due personalità artistiche rispettose della tradizione, ma continuamente protese verso il progresso ed estremamente motivate a mettere in luce la poliedricità espressiva del flauto e della chitarra.
Nella costante ricerca del “colore” strumentale, Oliva e Savarese propongono un peculiare repertorio basato su opere appositamente scritte per la formazione cameristica stessa e su pregiate rielaborazioni di celebri pagine musicali classiche e moderne.Tutte le rielaborazioni scelte dai musicisti sono dotate di un tessuto compositivo artistico tale da consentire di scoprire e delineare chiaramente, ad interpreti ed ascoltatori, la “drammaturgia” degli eventi musicali propri di ogni partitura.
Il loro primo CD, “GLOBE”, ha vinto un prestigiosissimo LOS ANGELES GLOBAL MUSIC AWARD OF EXCELLENCE 2013.
Intensa e particolare è l’attenzione che riviste musicali italiane e straniere, unitamente a trasmissioni radiofoniche, rivolgono frequentemente a questa formazione cameristica, dedicando ottime recensioni ed ampi spazi con interviste ai due Solisti.
Il duo é regolarmente ospite di prestigiosi Festival ed Istituzioni Concertistiche sia in Italia che all’estero.

Continuously seeking for instrumental “colour”, GlobeDuo performs a particular repertoire based on pieces specifically written for the ensemble and on valuable transcriptions of modern and classical masterpieces. Every transcription chosen by the artists is tailored in such a way to empathise the musical expressive dramaturgy and overwhelm listeners and interpreters alike.
